COHOCTAH TOWNSHIP
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
NOTICE OF HEARING ON VARIANCE REQUEST
Please take notice that a meeting of the Cohoctah Township Zoning Board of Appeals will be
held on June 19, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. at the Cohoctah Township Hall, 10518 Antcliff Road,
Fowlerville, MI 48836 for a hearing on a variance request.
At this meeting, the Zoning Board of Appeals will consider and hold a public hearing on the
following matter:
Variance request submitted by The Carr Farm, LLC and Daniel Dosh involving property
located at 7990 Oak Grove Road, Howell, MI 48855 and 8000 Oak Grove Road, Howell,
MI 48855.
Applicant requests a variance to divide a single 13.6 acre parcel into two separate parcels
– one being 3 acres, which is less than 10 acres for AR zoned parcels as is required by
Section 6.02(N) of the Township Zoning Ordinance, and the other being 10.6 acres
without a single-family dwelling, which is less than 20 acres as is required by Section
6.06(A) of the Township Zoning Ordinance.
The Township is receiving written comments concerning the variance request at the Township
Hall, 10518 Antcliff Road, Fowlerville, MI 48836. Comments must be received by the Township
prior to the start of the public hearing.
This notice is posted in compliance with 1976 PA 267 as amended (Open Meetings Act) and the
Americans with Disabilities Act.
Cohoctah Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids or services to individuals
