The Board of Review convenes in March to review the assessment roll of the township, hear complaints of property owners regarding their assessment and to correct the roll where it is deemed just; it also convenes a short meeting in July and December for the purpose of making clerical corrections and changes to homestead status. Members are compensated at a per diem rate.
COHOCTAH TOWNSHIP BOARD OF REVIEW NOTICE
The Cohoctah Township March Board of Review will meet on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 3:00pm - 9:00pm & Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 9:00am - 3:00pm for the purpose of hearing protests of assessments, taxable value, property classification, or qualified agricultural exemptions. The organizational meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 10:00am. No protests are allowed at the organizational meeting. The meetings will be held at the Cohoctah Township Hall located at: 10518 Antcliff Road.
All mail-in paperwork and petitions must be received on or before Thursday, March 8, 2018.
